Bit of a special one, this. I know Lyndsay and Steven from my uni days and despite being in different years, through mutual friends Lyndsay and I have kept in touch. I was delighted when she dropped me a line to ask if I would like to be her and Steven’s wedding photographer and even more so when she suggested our old haunt of Stirling University for their engagement shoot.
If you’ve never been to Stirling Uni, it’s one of the most beautifully set campus’ in, possibly, the world. Nestled amongst the trees on the edge of the city, it not only boasts its own loch, it’s carefully watched over by the beautiful Ochil Hills. And the best time to visit? Autumn! Golden golden golden. Love it.
We had a brilliant late morning having a walk around the campus, reminiscing and exploring the grounds we all knew like the back of our hands and having a good ol’ catch up.
I’m so excited for their wedding next May at Mar Hall, near Glasgow. The plans they have, well – I can’t wait! I won’t spoil any surprises, so for now here are a few of my favourites from their pre-wedding shoot…
