{Exciting times…}

Apologies for my lack of blogging of late. I have so many lovely weddings from this year to share so get ready to see a barrage of beautiful days.

My excuse for not blogging? This…

Very exciting times afoot at Owens Towers. Baby Owens is due any day now. The bags are packed and we’re as ready as we’re ever going to be.

I had my last wedding of the season at the end of August, Bethan & Anthony‘s amazing sea view day. Since then it’s been a mixture of editing, organising and, somewhere, relaxing…

I went to Waterstones and bought a book – a real-life, page-turning book; I’ve caught up with friends old and new and eaten far too much cake in the process; I’ve taken gentle strolls along Portobello prom; I’ve cooked vast amounts of meals and frozen them all in the assumption we’ll soon be too busy to cook; I’ve painted food jars with chalkboard paint; and made a crane mobile for the nursery… Not a bad attempt at nesting, even if I do say so myself.

It’s all so exciting and we really have no solid idea what to expect, but I hope this goes some way to explain why I might be a little quieter than usual over the coming few weeks.
