My 2016

What a year, eh? It often felt like everyday there was something else on the news for us all to get our heads round, a big change to fathom and discuss…

But for me, for my couples, the beautiful weddings, the chance to be involved in the most important day of their lives, 2016 was completely wonderful. Never before have I been so grateful to have such a positive job. I’ve never taken it for granted, not once since that first wedding in 2010, to going full time in 2013 and beyond – I love it and appreciate how special a role it is. But the laughter that I’ve shared in this year has gone a very long way and for that I’d really like to thank all of my couples for welcoming me into their days, and to the families inviting me along for an outing, allowing me to snap away. And to my future couples, too! A few feature here with their engagement shoots; I can’t wait to see you again soon.

The final word, as always, goes to my boys. These two have had my back all year, through thick and thin. Life threw curve balls this year, but never did it prevent our wee team from being unstoppable xx
