I’m not really sure how to put into words how magic Megan and Ross’s wedding was. I think the memory that sticks in my head the most was the ceremony, or to be specific: the way these two look at each other. The love, smiles, laughter, tears. Their eyes and the way they might as well have been the only two people in the room. So much love.

I adored being part of their day and wish we could do it all again! Plus it was at Wedderburn. And I think we all know how I feel about Wedderburn… <3

What a day! Before moving to Dunbar last summer we lived in Edinburgh for just over 12 years and yet in all that time I never took the trip out to see Rosslyn Chapel (despite reading the Da Vinci Code years ago and always saying we should go!) and I should have – what a place. Aside from it being completely fascinating and steeped in history, it was also the most beautiful setting for Amber and Ollie’s wedding a couple of Saturdays ago, before they headed off to their reception at Ollie’s parents’ house in Lasswade nearby.

Thanks to Amber’s dad’s company Glasshouse Events, the day was, literally, lit up and decked out with amazing individual features and unique elements – like the old Citroen van as a wine bar, colourful lights everywhere and festoon bulbs adding amazing ambience to the day. Add that to all the fun, laughter and love and you have one awesome wedding! He had a great team with him including Finesee Marquees, Core Productions, Stretch Tent Scotland, Event A Loo and Cairns & Scott.

Here are a few from the day. Huge thanks to Fiona Higgins Photography for second shooting with me.

Harvest Moon Weddings is one of those venues that photographers talk about. And I mean TALK about. It’s stunning scenery, relaxed setting, beach ceremonies, glamping/treehouse accommodation and a team that help at every turn – it’s somewhere I have always wanted to shoot. I was so excited when Lou and Andy got in touch about their day and to now have Harvest Moon on my doorstep since we moved down here last summer is just the best bonus!

These two married on the beach, as they dreamed of doing, surrounded by their lovely family and friend, their two boys and the view. It’s impossible to write about the day, I’m not sure I can do it justice really… They had a festival vibe to the whole day, from the street food stalls for their meal (cooked up by the amazing Jo’s Kitchen, decorated by Verity), garden games, the awesome Big Blu Pizza van and glitter face paints for the evening. Just brilliant.

Lou and Andy – two of the kindest, warmest people you could ever meet. Family is everything. It was a complete joy to hang out with them all day; their two gorgeous boys running around with their cousins and friends. The most amazing of weddings.
