Whitekirk Hill Wedding | Eilidh & George

Whitekirk Hill has been a place I’ve visited a long time, mainly as it’s a favourite local spot for a cracking coffee and cake in their gorgeous Orangery! I’ve even had the pleasure of visiting the spa with the girls too, so you can imagine I was above excited to be able to shoot a wedding at this wonderful venue. Being based in Dunbar, I’m so lucky to have lots of amazing wedding venues nearby and now, having shot at Whitekirk Hill for the first time, I can add it to the list. What a space!

Wedding co-ordinator Erin ran the day seamlessly. Am I biased because she’s one of my 2024 brides?! Maybe yes because she’s so lovely but also no as she’s just so great at her job, as is the whole team. They made Eilidh and George’s day run like clockwork and that was despite the patchy weather, it wasn’t really given a second thought. Not only did I get to see Erin, but also hang out with some brilliantly lovely wedding suppliers too. So great to see Charlotte from Charlotte Louise Make Up and the girls from The Daisy Chain in Pencaitland. It was my first time working with Laura from I Do Hair and the Celebrant Ali Cameron, but both were a hoot and so much fun to spend time with.

Eilidh and George love the beach, especially down at Seacliff, so we made sure to factor in a quick trip with their lovely dog, Limmy. Squeezing in a dash about the sand before the rain came was so much fun and I can’t help but grin looking back at the pictures.

If any proof was needed that these two were two of the coolest people ever, just check out the DJ-ing photos at the end. What a pair. What a day!

Here are a few of my favourite images…
