2021 wedding round up
2021 was always going to be different. Not as much as 2020 of course, but so many of the weddings last year were affected by Covid, still. Postponed weddings, newly arranged elopements, smaller weddings, change-of-plans weddings... But they were all magic. Every. Single. One.
2021 was my 10th year shooting weddings. TEN! Which is as incredible as it is fast. Ever since Fiona and Mike tied the knot at Airth Castle that sunny August day back in 2010, I dreamed then that this would become my full-time job. And it did. 2013 was officially my last year of having the security of a full-time salaried job. 2014 onwards it was just me, full-time and self-employed and it really has been a dream come true.
I’m VERY excited for 2022. It will see me, for the most part, more local this year. Getting chance to shoot at my favourite venues more and more - Dunglass Estate, Harvest Moon, Wedderburn Castle and Barns, Newhall Estate. As well as visiting a couple of new places which I’m really looking forward to, I’ll revisit a few venues I’ve not been to in a while too. I also get to see not one, but TWO of my 2021 couples again as they continue their celebrations with more friends and family than were allowed at the time of their weddings due to Covid.
That’s me fully booked now for 2022 - a huge thank you to all my upcoming couples who have chosen me to shoot their days. I still have 2023 availability so do get in touch if you’d like to know more about my photography.
For now, the biggest thank you must go to these couples here - my 2021 wedding teams. And what days there were. I loved 2021, thank you for having me. Bring on 2022!
