Timberyard Wedding || Dana and John

Dana + John // Timberyard and Dragonfly, Edinburgh

Dana and John skyped me all the way from Salt Lake City ahead of their Edinburgh wedding. When their September date finally came round I culdn’t wait to meet them in person having heard all about their plans. It all sounded so completely romantic, and completely romantic it was.

Having got ready separately in Edinburgh they reunited in the super-cool Timberyard for their ceremony. What a setting! Surrounded by just their very closest family and friends the exchanged vows before enjoying a beautiful meal. We popped out for a few photos; blasts of colour from Timberyard’s awesome red doors; pops of blue from the Edinburgh street (a perfect backdrop for John’s jumping skills!). The party contined at Dragonfly just round the corner for a good old dance, including getting to see Dana and John’s awesome Lindyhop skills!

The following week the three of us met up again on the Isle of Skye. Having visited a few times when I was younger with my family, I was looking forward to going back and exloring again as an adult. We were treated to the tail end of Hurricane Dorian, so it made for a windy, soggy trip. But one packed with dramatic skies, smiles, hugs and quite a special and memorable couple of days spent in the company of two souls who are such wonderful company. The happiest of days.
